Enjoy!Īdapted from the story of the same name by Christopher Awdry. I think I'm gonna stop here with the commentaries, and let my episodes speak for themselves. But I'm getting ahead of myself here, as I'm wasting my breathe. And spoiler alert, ghosts and magic do exist in my series, and Proteus's ghost, this won't be the last time we see him. Not much was known if the story was true, but hey, that's why we got fanfics But being an adaptation, and how it was just another original idea that just wasn't faithful to the source material, but memorable to us fans growing up, I took some liberties, like Skarloey telling the story, not Rusty, and it makes sense he would. Duncan Gets Spooked was a really interesting, and a very creepy episode, like the fact an engine falls off a bridge, plummets into a river, and drowns to death, and that its on-screen, like Jesus Christ man, that was a big risk that kid's show took, but at the same time, kids like to be scared to some extent, and sometimes, even I do, despite actually getting scared myself. So now I got my first narrow gauge story, and horror story. I would've saved it, but I was able to have off from work today due to this snowstorm where I live, so I took the advantage to write my 11th episode, an adaptation of Duncan Gets Spooked. Commentary: Hi guys! I got with me my next episode. It works, but maybe too well, thanks to an unknown source showing up out of nowhere. But when Duncan is still being cocky and rude, his and Peter Sam's crew decide to use the story as an advantage to scare him. Skarloey decides to teach Duncan a lesson by telling him the story of his and Rheneas's old acquaintance, Proteus, a strange and reserved engine with a striking lamp that died falling off the bridge back in 1918, but his ghost still tries to get across. ![]() Description: After Peter Sam has an accident with some trucks at the Old Iron Bridge, Duncan couldn't resist teasing him, much to the other engines' annoyance. ![]() Sam, Rheneas, Troublesome Trucks, Proteus (non-speaking), Sir Handel (non-speaking cameo), Duke (Cameo) ![]() Characters: Duncan, Skarloey, Peter Sam, Rusty, the Thin Controller Mr.
